The Role of Questioning of the Educators (Teachers) in Intellectual Cultivation of the Educated (Students) Focusing on the Traditions of Immaculate Imams (peace be upon them) %K Intellectual Cultivation %K Questioning %K teacher %K Student %R %X The issue of thought and thinking has always been underlined by Quran and prophetic traditions to the extent that one hour thinking is equal to seventy years of devotional act of worship. Educational system also struggles to educate intellectual students so that they can acquire a correct perspective of the challenges they are faced with. One of the most efficient actions for developing thinking among students is the use of the spirit of questioning in them. Therefore, the current study examines the significance of questioning in the educational system for cultivation of intellectual faculty in students relying on the prophetic traditions. The method used in the article is library based and analytical. It can be concluded that the most desirable method for intellectual cultivation of the educated is questioning which has been used by the immaculate imams as an educator in normal educational procedures. This method not only engages the audience in the intellectual process as an active agent but also allows the educator to lead the educated (pupil) towards a higher intellectual and epistemic capacity via raising purposeful questions and appropriate motivation. %U https://jer.znu.ac.ir/article_37557_f5dc6271cbd82f3cbe700ead206af2ef.pdf
