Gadamer’s Philosophical Hermeneutics in the Mirror of Moral Philosophy

Abstract
The central core and goal of Gadamer's hermeneutics is philosophical reflection on the nature of understanding and explaining how to achieve it. Given the understanding that historicity, linguisticality and playfulness are its indicators and that it is revealed in the context of human existence (tradition, history, culture),  this article focuses on the determining factors mentioned by Gadamer, aiming to examine Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics in the mirror of deontological ethics and consequentialism, and  in the context of this review, to verify the divergence of deontological ethics and the convergence of consequentialism with Gadamer's hermeneutic approach. From the perspective of Gadamer's philosophy, every action (ethical-political) occurs in a hermeneutic situation. This means that ethical knowledge is consistent with Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics, which, in opposition to absolutism, includes the existential and historical essence of the agent. In this way, consequentialist ethical knowledge is the knowledge that provides the possibility of this ethical action for the agent and on the opposite point, deontological ethical knowledge based on absolutism will deny this possibility and reduce ethical action to the level of mere reproductive action.

هستۀ مرکزی و غایت هرمنوتیک گادامر، تأمل فلسفی در ماهیت فهم و تبیین چگونگی دستیابی به آن است. فهمی که تاریخ‌مندی، زبان‌مندی و بازی‌مندی شاخصه‌های آن هستند و در بستر ساحات وجودی انسان (سنت، تاریخ و فرهنگ) متعین می‌شود. نوشتار پیش‌رو بر آن است تا بر پایۀ شاخصه‌های تعیین‌کنندۀ یادشده، هرمنوتیک فلسفی گادامر را در آینۀ وظیفه گرایی و پیامدگرایی اخلاقی بررسی کند و در متن این بررسی به امکان‌سنجی واگرایی وظیفه‌گرایی اخلاقی و هم‌گرایی پیامدگرایی اخلاقی با رویکرد هرمنوتیکی گادامر بپردازد. از منظر فلسفۀ گادامر، هر کنشی (اخلاقی/ سیاسی) در موقعیت هرمنوتیکی رخ می‌دهد. این بدان معناست که دانش اخلاقی‌ای با هرمنوتیک فلسفی گادامر منطبق است که در تقابل با مطلق‌انگاری، ماهیت وجودی و تاریخی کنشگر را در خود جای دهد. از این رهگذر به نظر می‌رسد دانش اخلاقی پیامدگرا دانشی است که امکان این کنش اخلاقی را برای کنشگر فراهم می‌کند و در نقطۀ مقابل، دانش اخلاقی وظیفهگرا بر پایۀ مطلق‌انگاری، این امکان را سلب خواهد کرد و کنش اخلاقی را تا سطح عمل بازتولیدی صرف، فرو خواهد کاست. البته شاخصه‌های خاص هرمنوتیک گادامر راه را برای امکان انطباق‌پذیری با اخلاق وظیفه گرا نیز هموار می‌کند.
